Our Story
I’m Sarah, founder of Signature Service Travel. My love of travel started long before Signature Service Travel. From family trips to the Outer Banks to discovering new places on the road, those experiences eventually led me to a career helping other people explore, too.
Here’s a little about the travels that inspired me and how our agency came to be.
A Love of Exploring
Some of my favorite childhood memories are from family vacations in the Outer Banks. Those trips sparked my love for the beach, and I still enjoy going back whenever I can.
A road trip through New England sparked an interest in exploring beyond the places I already knew. Between the scenery, small towns, and unexpected stops, I discovered how much fun it could be to see somewhere new. That curiosity has stayed with me, whether my family and I are taking a cruise, heading out on a road trip, or stopping somewhere simply because it catches our attention.
How Signature Service Travel Began
I was already working as a travel advisor, attending conferences, learning from suppliers, and finding new places I wanted to explore. Starting my own agency wasn’t the plan, but an unexpected change gave me the opportunity to try.
Signature Service Travel opened in February 2020. Just a few weeks later, COVID-19 brought travel to a standstill. It was a challenging way to begin, but we made it through and kept building.
Today, I’m proud that the agency has grown into a team of independent travel advisors who help families, couples, and groups discover new places and plan memorable trips.
Travel Is Still Personal
I still love researching destinations, comparing cruise itineraries, and finding interesting places to explore. I know how exciting vacation planning can be, but I also know how many decisions come with it.
That’s one reason I enjoy helping clients plan their travels. Today, our advisors help families, couples, and groups compare options, make informed choices, and feel more prepared for their trips.
